What are the steps in the order fulfilment process?

Goods in:

You send your inventory to a warehouse or fulfilment centre

Warehousing:

Your inventory is stored ready for orders to come in

The items in each order are collected and assembled in a parcel

The parcel is despatched to the customer via a courier or products are returned to the fulfilment centre for processing.

Order fulfilment is defined as the process of receiving, picking and packing, and delivering orders to customers. It sounds simple, but order fulfilment is about more than putting products in the post – it’s about creating a brilliant experience for your customers every time.

Goods In

All goods are checked in to our fulfilment database, Goods in processes followed for all new deliveries either into our pick and pack warehouse or our deep storage facility. All stock cross checked against packing sample and lists, with visual checking for damages. 

Warehousing and Storage

Next, we find a place for your stock in our warehouse and space to suit your needs, we only charge for the space you need. You can monitor exactly where your stock is and how much you’ve got, in real time, using our cloud-based Software.

Pick n Pack

Pick and pack is a critical step in the order fulfilment process. First, all items in a customer’s order are collected (picked) from their storage locations. Next, the items are put in appropriate packaging (packed), ready for shipping to the customer.

Shipping

We then pick, pack and ship 98% of them on the same day. Next day Shipping services, all orders before 2.00pm can be shipped same day. We also have cost effective international shipping options.

Returns

Receiving back packages from customers and ensuring they get the exchange and refund they are after with same day processing and fully integrated systems to ensure all inventory is seperated into good or bad.
